The QH podcast presents conversations between members of the academic and creative communities—for example, a music scholar talks with a musician about the role of class in contemporary country music.

Hear American Studies at work as scholars talk with artists, filmmakers, chefs, writers, musicians, and fans.  The intention is to bridge the gap between the academy and the community by engaging scholars with the topics of their work, the people doing creative work in the communities surrounding our campuses.

So it is our hope that these interviews will provide a critical framework for starting conversations about American culture, how we make it and how we make sense of it.
