Adam Golub is associate professor and director of the M.A. program in American Studies at California State University, Fullerton, where he teaches courses on literature, childhood, music, and monsters. He is co-editor, with Heather Richardson Hayton, of Monsters in the Classroom: Essays on Teaching What Scares Us (McFarland 2017). His writing has appeared in American Quarterly, Film and History, The Journal of Transnational American Studies, and elsewhere. He earned his Ph.D. in American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
Leslie Singel recently completed her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Before that, she earned her B.A. from the University of Dayton and M.A. from the University of Louisville. She then worked at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago.
